At Afterglow Books, we are committed to promoting adult literacy and believe that everyone could use a little motivation. Just because we’re adults now doesn’t mean we don’t deserve a reward for finishing a stack of books! That’s why we’ve partnered with Macy’s Place Pizzeria to help you meet your reading goals and enjoy a delicious personal pan pizza as a reward.

Stop into Afterglow Books to pick up your bingo board or download and print it below. Turn your completed board back in and receive a voucher for a free Cheese Personal Pan Pizza + One Topping from Macy's Place Pizzeria.

Limit one voucher per reader. All Bingo cards should be turned in by December 31st, 2024.

Autumn Book Bingo Rules:

  • Read a book that matches the description of a square to complete it.
  • Fill in the square with the book title and the date you completed it.
  • When you have read 4-5 books in a row (diagonal, vertical, or horizontal), you get a bingo!
  • Each book can only be used for one square in a qualifying bingo.
  • Qualifying dates are for books read between September 22, 2024, and December 21, 2024.
  • Limit One Bingo Per Reader.

FAQs

Do I need to have a printed bingo board?

Yes. If you don’t have access to a printer, you can track your reads electronically. Once you complete your bingo, you can fill out a paper board in-store to receive your voucher. We’ll need to keep a copy on file for tracking purposes.

What does this prompt mean?

The prompts are open to interpretation, so feel free to approach them however you like. While each prompt was created with a specific idea in mind, the goal is to encourage reading and help you explore new genres. That means there’s no wrong way to interpret a square! Which square does my book fit into?

Many books can fit into multiple squares, so we recommend choosing the square that will most likely help you complete a bingo. The good news is this is meant to be fun, so nothing is set in stone! If you pick one square but later realize another would give you a bingo, feel free to switch it!
